Practice

There are many benefits to the practice of Taekwondo at any age. We strive to develop a strong center and achieve a balanced life. We attempt to practice with unity of mind, body and spirit. Wether you are interested in increased health and well being, developing self esteem, increase concentration, or other reasons completely your own, Taekwondo practice can help you reach your goals too. There are several things to be mindful of when coming to the studio to practice. When we arrive at the studio door, we have an opportunity to take a moment and reflect on our purpose before entering. Conciously we choose to leave our outside issues behind, and focus on self development within.

We also seek to develop a deeper understanding through constant focus on basic techniques. Rather than a goal to become a black belt, or finish our form, or learn a new form. Our goal instead becomes to go deeper, find new meaning, rather than finish.
